Unknown Item In Ultima 8

Does anyone else know what the blue vial found in a corpse in the corner of the cave with the waterfall near town in U8 is?
It dosent do anything and dosent have a name.
Anyone?

its a vial of blue acid that you were warned about. as always, don't eat the blue acid!

hmm, I remember finding that and not figuring out what it was for. My guess it was something to do with the expansion pack that never saw the light of day.
