Hi, I have a new computer since today and I'm also working with windows 7 now, so I don't know where to place these files. Do I have to do it in the same way when I asked about it for Vista since I now have the GOG.com release?

Also, what's wrong with the graphics? They're a bit blurry...

Blurry - use the point scaler

Still is blurry (testing it with the original SI), yet when I take a screenshot, it's really clear.

Might be stupid to ask, but what are the perfect settings when playing these games in Exult for Win 7 (I was toggling alot with the screen, and when I got it right, the mouse moved slower, so).

Wait, for some reason, it's not blurry anymore. Don't know what I did, but it worked (I hope).

Because I made a folder called "Mods" in the SI directory and put everything in there, yet the mod isn't showing...

I forgot to download winrar, sorry about that, but some reason, it's not extracting the files to the "Mods" folder. It says "Access Denied" or "Cannot Find The Given Directory" when unzipping.

C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) are write protected you will need to do this with elevated rights.
The newest (already months old) download from GOG fixes that by *NOT* installing the games there but in C:\GOG Games.

But to fix it without redownloading from GOG. run Winrar with admin rights (right click in startmenu and select run as administrator) and then browse in Winrar to the folder with the mods and then extract them.

And again for blurry vs not blurry, in the screenshot above you were still not using the point scaler which is obvious by the settings dialog.

And best use the latest version of the mods from

Ok, extracting it as an Admin works (thanks!). Now to test the resolution again.
