Congrats on a great program

I love exult, and check the site almost daily to see what new improvements have made it into the next snapshots.

I think the program is great, and it's good to see some hardcore fans keeping the game alive. I had to dig up my old 5 1/4 inch flopies, and find an old 5 1/4 inch drive to install the game, and play it, but it was worth it (mind you, it was a major pain in the ass! lol).

My question would be, that do you plan to perhaps correct some plot holes in either game? It's probably really tough, but I wouldn't really no, but for example, resolving the kantra (i think that's her name) quest? You know, in SI, when you take her body back to monk isle and they ressurect her?

There are other instances, but none that I recall. It could be cool.

Also, since your stuck in britania, it would be cool if you could implement some sort of cross game import system.

like in Quest for glory, or more recently, baldur's gate, where you could save your character for example, on finishing Ultima 7 pt 1, and then in serpent isle, importing your avatar so that he has the same stats? That would be cool.

Because, I mean, technically, you only ever go back to normal every time you leave britania, but SI, is still on the same world.

Just a cool idea.

It would be cool to see more sub plots in either game (I know SI has none, but still), but this is just wishful thinking.

Again, good luck with it, and good work on all that you have achieved so far.

Thanks. I'm not sure if any of us will try to add new subplots. But we are building tools to make it possible.

Er, first off, that link is blind, it doesn't work.

Secondly, is that part of the april fools joke?

That was the old link to the announcement. It's now http://exult.sf.net/aprilfools.html

Yeah, it was part of the joke.
