Here a copy of my letter i will send to EA. If you want to make like this tell EA what you think of the announcement. Be polite.

Dear Mr., Mrs.,

I congratulate you to have acquire a great project like exult. But there some points that is really inconstent:


1)We Exult users have work with the creator to find bugs, and make some suggestion to make a really great game. Why you want to ruin it

2)We Exult users have a free copy of exult with or without free snapshot that we search on the exult site everyday. Why you don't let the user have your game free at least for us.

They'll probably ignore it, just like our other letters.

It's not as if any remake project has bothered trying to contact them is it?
At least according to EA...

Also I'm not entirely sure if Jonathan didn't confuse our Mailinglist with some sort of EA maillinglist. After all we had the address of the mailing list posted on our Joke announcement.
So Jonathan, can you confirm this?

I know it. I also know of other projects besides Exult that have tried to contact EA or even emailed a certain EA Spokesperson personally (the same one who says nobody has tried contacting EA no less) about their work.
