Help!

I am playing SI and want to free Captain Hawk from his cell, but there are no guards around (to give them the gold bars)! I run the newest snapshot under Windos Me. How can I continue the game?

Ok, I got it. No clue why this happened.
The only thing I noticed was that the game was started with the 0.96beta1. Maybe something screwed up there. And that would mean you have to start again (maybe try an earlier savegame and see if the pikemen are still there).
Anyway I'm putting it up on our bug tracker with your e-mail address so you receive any activites on this bug.
