Music as old soundblaster

Hi all,

I originally played the game with a soundblaster, and would like to hear the music that way again. I don't know offhand what kind of soundcard i have, but surely it is soundblaster compatible? My puter is 2 years old running Win/Me. I also have a Win98 and two Win95 to try it on if I need to.

When I run Exult, I get different sounding music, and would really like to play the game with the music I remember.

try playing around with the music conversion and/or with your midi-mapper. see http://exult.info/docs.php#Audio

You need an OPL/FM synth on your soundcard, and you also need to point the midi mapper to the FM device

I still have my old SB16's, and Midi's played through them are pretty bad compared to what you get with Timidity.
