I'm looking for Karl in Minoc. You know the guy whose brother got killed on a ship built by Owen. Is he missing because of a bug? I remember he hang around in the Checkered Corque in the original.

He's Southeast of Minoc. Look towards the South cape of the mountain East of Minoc and you should find a hut. He likes to hang around that area.
