OK! I'm sorry, Colourless!

Your ban from #exult is now removed. You're lucky I didn't make it permanent. Flood me again, like you did with the "You suck!" messages and I might reconsider.

Just don't do anything stupid there and everything should be fine.

I did that BECAUSE you banned me! I was mad. I'm sorry.

How old are you exactly Skutarth? Are you past Grade School yet?

hey Skutarth, you might want to consider using a proxy to mask your IP and change that nick. People here are going to hold a grudge on you for quite some time. Just like this last post before me, 'they' as I call them will dish out lots of the "in-mature jokes" at you in a hope to boost their self-esteem. I wonder which is more in-mature now?

You seem to resent this web forum Daniel.

Honestly. I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but these forums have always been a good place of productive (albeit sometimes odd) discussion. But it's usually pretty obvious when someone who isn't capable of that enters. I don't think the people who have respect for the Exult team members or these forums, or that have been around as long as some of us could *not* refrain from saying something, and I've yet to see anything said that is downright immature from those commenting against Skutarth. Sure, perhaps it's better to just sit around and hope it'll go away, but for crying out loud it's an internet forum, don't take it all so seriously. People are going to post their opinions. Just grin and bear it, like we have to bear certain board users ;)

I seem to resent this forum because I can empathise with Skutarth?
I was once like Skutarth and I learnt alot about insults and the types of people who use them. I also discovered that accusing others of being the stereotypical 12 year-old or undergraduate only saught to anger me more. That fueled more abuse and only saught to increase the problem. I speak from experience here when I say this.

Moral of the story, don't add fuel to the fire.

I can respect that point of view, but instead of segregating 'us' and 'they', why don't you just try to help Skutarth gain a better attitude in the forum especially if you have his background, instead of creating your own fire in the process? We're all friends here, but obviously people have different tolerances than others for certain behaviours.

:)

Makes me feel old, but I remember first getting on Usenet in 1987. So nothing I read here is particularly shocking or annoying.

"Yeah, I think this post is just a prime example of someone giving out constructive critism and Exult team hating it. We are still important so don't forget that."

Yeah Usenet can be fun. :) Not that I've paid any real attention to it for the past few years. Maybe the Exult forum can become the new R.G.C.U.D! ^_^

What is that supposed to mean fliptw? I haven't even been on Usenet so if you think I'm being unoriginal then think again.

well, all I know is if you spam like a 12 yr old, you will be considered one...I don't see too many 40 yr old men acting this way...let alone people that are bad a$$ coders. Unless you happen to be a bad a$$ 12 yr old coder...but I highly doubt that

I don't spam. Clear as that.

I also know a lot of 40yr old men that are angry with their lives and take it out on younger ones, including me when I haven't done anything wrong!

I found this is espciecally true with Bus drivers. But I'm from Australia so it might be different over there, wherever you are.

I'm only 12 years old... :P
No, really, I am!

Don't treat me like I'm stupid, though...
