While adding one of the requested features (combining gold when you add it to a backpack), I seem, to, err, perhaps, introduced some >slight< bugs (as in crashes all over the place).
So it might be a good idea to skip today's snapshot.

Of course, this makes perfect sense in the IT industry, after all, just look at Microsoft. *grin*

As I just found another bug with the auto-combine, people should better stay away from today's snapshot as well.
Though it won't crash, it has the potential to let you loose some stackable items like coins, arrows, lockpicks, ...

But the crash is fixed now, I hope.
Think of the new bug as a feature: It keeps your backpack from getting too cluttered:-)

Muchos Gracias Dr. Code. Autostacking gold and lockpicks and reagants is going to get rid of a lot of annoying micropack management. And the crashes just make it feel more realistic.

the crashes are gone but when you drag stackable items out of the backpack onto the same backpack on the paperdoll you may loose some of the stackable items when combined it is more than 100 units.

I can't seem to duplicate this problem. So I'd say: Give the new snapshots a try, and let us know if any other problems occur involving moving piles of things.
