RC1 Save game files

How can you use save game files from RC1 with RC2? I copy the files over and it won't display any files.

start a game up to the moment where you see the Black Gate or SI screen with "Journey onward, start a new game...". Then open stdout.txt in your exult directory and look for a line saying:
"Savegame:" after that the location for savegames is written. Make sure your savegames are in there and with the correct syntax:
for BG the savegames are named: exultXXbg.sav (XX is any number)
For the SI Savegames: exultXXsi.sav
