Haha just joking...so that I an trick you to read my message.

Not exult related but of interest.

Did you know that on the place you start the game(ship crashed landed)? There is actually a exact replica of that starting site just left of the the place. You have to teleport there using cheat though.

From this observation, you can actually keep your spellbook and all your oiginal items! Just place them on the floor next to the ship. After the teleport storms, teleport left to the twin area and voila, all your items are there where you left them.

I wonder anyone knows about this since I've never heard of it beig mentioned. With this "cheat", you can keep your spellbook!

Yeah, we used to talk about this before all the messages on the board got wiped. I don't think there's much no one knows about the maps and secrets of the games now, hehe.

There is an Inifinity Bow(or something) nearby, and a staircase to the mountaintop, if I recall correctly.

Keep your spellbook, no reagents to use to cast with. Yea, great. I prefer to make up a new book anyway.

I've known this area since about, '94 I think it was. :)

Dunno whether it is possible to pick it.

How about this: In SI's usecode, there's a function for something that's just called a 'wand'. When you use it on something, you're given a slider for choosing a number, and it then moves the object to that lift.

That wand thing was a proper usable item you could pick up in the game. Pretty usless, but, yea, it brought up the slider thing and moved the object.

Hey I was wondering if most people know these couple of tricks with SI...

You can have 7 companions with you by killing those who are in the party until you have 4 left. Then recruit another companion. Resurrect the rest with the Hourglass...

You can max out everyone's stats (w/o cheating of course) using the Belt of Strength and Gauntlet of Quickness...

Anyone didn't know these before?

I remember reading that (refering to the 8 companions, and stats) in a walkthrough back in 96. I remember the year, because it has the date it was printed out on it, hehe.

Oh yea, that stat thing was too easy. Every time I played si, I would train the avatar to around 20 points in everything, then use the items in the expansion to raise to 30 points in skills, and then equip other items.

Hint: Always do the silver seed quest just before the mountains of freedom. :) I would always talk to figidazzi and she would invite me to her house, then I would take off and do the silver seed, then go to her house fully equipped........ I figured that myself. I always wondered if anyone else knew it. ;)

I had a way figured with the original game when I got it so I could do the silver seed quest an infinity amount of times.

I would install the lot (from floppies), do the silver seed, then wipe it, keeping the save, then just install si, load up the game in it, then install the silver seed, then the whole expansion is available again. It went something like that.

I could never find how to get to the bottom coast part of the mountains of freedom without cheating though. That stumped me.

Were there any other cheat areas besides cat island and the naked woman cave? I don't think there were.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I'm saying you can max out the stats every member of your party. It also involves killing your own companions (or the automatons in your party) everyone can get 30 Dex and 30 (or even 31) Strength...

And you can max out everyone's stats (permanently) in U7BG using serpent venom, without the after-effects. This time it doesn't involve killing your own guys.

Heh, everlasting goblet.

I'd take it to someone's place I didn't like, turn it upside down, and run.

The Lifting Wand...

...is in Shrine of Enthusiasm. In the red-black hall near the shooting serpent statue.

Very enthusiastic tool, I would say.

I always thought there were a few scattered around.

They just look like plain old wands. They don't glow or anything.

So does anyone know how to get to the bottom of the furnace dungeon mountain range legitimatly? That coastal area? That's about the only thing I've never figured out in this game.
