Hi guys!
Compliment for the work, exult is very useful and well programmed

I'm starting to translate ultima 7 from english to italian and i have found yours tools very useful, but without documentation they are very hard to manage.
So i'm writting this post for ask if somebody(please) can send me any documenation about the tools , the file-structure of the file-game (i.e.:which file contain the text of the game) and about everything can help me to complete my mission!

That is quite a task ? Are you disassembling the usecode, translating, and reassembling using wuc and wud ?
Obviously you already know you/we are not allowed to distribute the resulting usecode file...

That could be fixed with a program that patches the existing usecode file instead. There's a very good shareware patch maker appropriately called "Patch Maker" over at http://www.clickteam.com. They also have an Install Maker.

Even better: use xdelta.

I don't want distibuite the usecode file, i want create a patch.
i need docs about the right syntax for use wuc,wud and the other tools

Gianluca: when you do that with Exult it will be the second most interesting project concerning Ultima7 besides Exult (speaking of the amount of work that will take) in the last couple of years. Not that I would have a use for it (maybe when I decide to learn Italian ).
