Choosing the best snapshots

I have been using the 1.0x snapshots for a long time and now I want you to solve me a simple question: What´s better? 1.0x or 1.1x?
I mean, I´ve read the FAQ and it appears to be very simple; 1.0x is stable so it´s secure to play with it and 1.1x is unstable due to important changes so you do not recommend to play with it. Now my questions: I play with Exult in order to try new improvements and searching for bugs or possible new features, and many of them are only in the 1.1x. Is it so dangerous to use 1.1x? Why? Which are the advantages and which are the inconvenients? Will the 1.0 release have all the improvements of the 1.1x or will it be a more-depurated version of the 1.0x? Be more explicit than in the FAQ please, so I could decide. Thanks for your attention and keep on working on this wonderful project!

At the moment, 1.1x is pretty safe.

I'd probably prefer you use 1.0x, just because we want to see if there are any more bugs before we release it as 1.00.

So the 1.0 release will not have the improvements of the 1.1x and it will be a depurated version of the 1.0x as I thought... OK, and what will come after the 1.0? Will the 1.1x features be implemented for the next release? And what about speeding NPCs a little as I suggested in the Project Page so they could try to chase you for combat?

1.0x is getting most bug fixes, but not the combat improvements (which are pretty small, so far). 1.1x also has some technical changes, such as the use of SDL_mixer, which shouldn't affect the user experience.

Things like speeding up NPC's in combat would go into 1.1x. The main goal of a 1.00 release has always been, "Provide the ability to play through BG and SI." We weren't trying to make things like combat or NPC schedules perfect (or even particularly good). I think we're there; and, if no more major bugs pop up, I'd like to release 1.00 within the week.

OK, I´m going to use the 1.0x again. So the GOOD things will come after the legendary 1.00. Well, I´m expecting it with impatience in order to see those new improvements from the 1.1x implemented, improvements that not only will do BG and SI playable from start to end, but will make them much better than the originals were. I suppose that now, with the cursed Freedom bug fixed, it´s time for the 1.00. Hail DrCode! Lord British´s blessings upon you!

Me i instal 1.0 after i install 1.1x over it. Does it change something
