I just found a brand new "Ultima Adventures 2: martian dreams" It's still in the original shrinkwrap with the original "68.99$" pricetag on it. Madness!

I don't want to open it incase I can sell it on Ebay or something hahaha.
How much do you think it's worth? If anything that is hahaha.

If it is the real Martian Dreams it might be worth a bit. Savage Empire is easy to come by but Martian Dreams is quite a bit rarer to find.

Ya it has the $68.99 pricetag on it from whenever it was in the store.
It's the real martian dreams as far as I can tell, unless there was a "fake" version or something.

Wasn't it called "Worlds of Ultima" ? I never saw the original box.

Also, $68.99 or 68.99$? I find a $70 price tag to be somewhat unlikely considering no other Ultima title ever retailed for that high, but if that is a different currency (thus the dollar sign being found on the other end of the amount, I guess) it would pry be something much different.

Sounds sweet. All I really want though is the Images of the original disks to replace the ones I have that had gone bad for my original disk versions of u7 and SI. Man I was happy the day I found the u7&si games on CD a few years ago. But still, having a working disk version again would be good.

Actually, Soul Harvester, they DID sell games for $70 US dollars a couple years back. I'm pretty sure I paid $69.99 for Ultima 8 the day it came out. Actually, the day before the day it officially came out, thanks to the knuckleheads working at my local Egghead Software. And then another 20 bucks for the Speech Pack.

55-70 bucks was a pretty common price range for the big ticket games.

Oh... and I once saw an original, unopened Martian Dreams selling on Ebay for well over $250.

Our laws state we are allowed to have 1 backup of the original that we own.

Now:

1. My original's are stuffed, I can't backup straight from them.
2. If there was a "warez" link posted, I missed it.

Ah well, guess I have to be content with the original's with the already integrated expansions that I have a couple of copies of on cd. (u7 collection, extra cd that came with U9).

JamesM: I'm no lawyer but my guts says no but strangely enough many times the gutfeeling is not the same as the actual law. And also as the Exult forum is viewed by people from alll over the world we would have to think of all the different laws. So, no warez or warez like stuff here.
