I have been playing around with pthreads on the Zaurus and wonder if the Zaurus version has been compiled without the -lpthread option for the linker. Has this been tried and what were the speed differences?

You certainly are talking about SDL, which IIRC REQUIRES pthreads. So I'm guessing it's in it.
