It seems to run just dandy, until there are more than a few things on the screen.
In windows ME, is there any way you can allocate ALL of your computer's available resources to one program.. (for instance, going into windows, closing down all the non-essential stuff, and throwing everything else at the u7win9x program)
any ideas would be appreciated.
(I still use exult I was just fiddling with this program too)
u7win9x

Re: u7win9x
I don't understand why u8win9x works on XP while u7win9x doesn't...
But still, I'll just have to live with the Exult team not making a pseudo Exult for Ultima 8.

Re: u7win9x
two reasons for that:
- no voodoo memoy manager in u8
- u8.exe was not "stripped"(also the reason why there is no similar program for crusader as in those exes were "stripped")

Re: u7win9x
Yeah, it's a shame about u7win9x not running under xp, but at least we have Exult. I wish they didn't automaticly install xp on every new computer, it won't run MOST of my old software. I need to set up a partition with 98 on it.
While I can get u8win9x to run on xp it crashes far to often for my liking.

u7dpmi that comes with u7win9x does run in WinXP, but it's too slow to bother with
