I've found a possible bug in SI, after the Bane has destroyed Moonshade, you talk to Stefano, he asks you to kill the Death Knight in exchange for one of the serpents.
But after killing the death knight stefano now just ignores me, how rude!
Anyone else had this one?

Re: Possible SI bug
1) What version of exult are you using?
2) Could you submit a bug report to our bugtracker with an attached (zipped) savegame of right before you encounter the death knight?

Thanks,
Willem Jan

Re: Possible SI bug
Stefano is stuck in combat mode after killing the death knight.
As a temporary workaround, you can use the cheat menu to force him out of combat mode:
F2
N
168
B
S
10

Re: Possible SI bug
I've encountered similar bugs. Another workaround is to walk away and come back after a schedule change (or cheat by hitting ctrl-t to make time pass).
I'm not sure what to do about the problem, since it results from fixing a previous complaint that you shouldn't be able to talk to NPC's that are in combat mode. But maybe that should only apply to hostile NPC's.

Re: Possible SI bug
newbie here...
I seem to recall the same bug occuring in the old dos version (could be wrong though). I think I got around it by wandering off for a while then coming back later. He should talk to you again.

You shouldn't be able to talk to NPCs that are in combat mode?
Does this mean you can't chat with...whatshisname, the goblin leader? Doesn't he start out in combat mode? Or am I misremembering?

Re: Possible SI bug
Pomdirgun initiates a talk himself at the moment of his death.
Usecode allows this. So does Rotoluncia and Selina and Hook and the dragon from FoV.
But there is no way _for you_ to initiate a talk to Pomdirgun during fight with him.
