Should Gwenno be Insane?

I've just resurrected Gwenno at Monk Isle, I seem to remember that she should be insane, but she seems quite normal to me! I've gone a got the Scroll off the bloke who runs the mage school, but Karnax isn't interested in it, which I think is how you trigger the apperance of the shrines.

Am I remembering wrongly or is this a bug?

Did you start this game a long time ago? If so, yes, it was a bug, but it's fixed, but you'll need to start a new game.

However, you can "cheat" to work-around it.
You'll have to set flag 0x1d (30) of Gwenno in the NPC editor of the F2 cheat menu to get Gwenno insane again.

At what point is it best to do this, should I do it straight after having her re-incarnated?

It's probably best to do it even before that.
I don't think it will hurt to do it afterwards, though. (Although I can't be sure)

It works if you do that, and unset her 'met' flag. I did the same thing, and it worked fine

Well. Considering that she is married to IOLO, she should be legally declared insane..
