Garriott's house in Ultima VII?

I have read in the book "DAS GROSSE LEXIKON DER COMPUTERSPIELE" (german book, translation: "The big encarta of computer games") about Richard Garriott, the author wrote:
(translation into english by me)

[...]so in Ultima VII you could find a rough ground-plan of his [Garriott's] house[...]

So it's not clear whether he means Serpent Isle or Black Gate. I have thought about this thing quite a time, but i could'nt imagine which house in Ultima VII is similiar to Richard ones? Perhaps the observatory on Moonglow?

What do you think?

As far as I know, RG lives in a huge manor in real life (the Britannia Manor), so I'd think that if his house was mirrored in one of the U7s, it would be one of the castles.

perhaps he have other houses too?
or at the time he developed Ultima 7, he didnt have this big manor already?

Since it seems to have a planetarium, I would bet garriot's house is the house of one of those two twins in New Magincia: infact he has a rather bizarre mansion, almost as huge as Lord British's castle - and it features a planetarium. Not to mention the internal swimming pool and the large garden with bushes shaped as animals...

I think so. You can read about it in an old interview in a German magazine from 1992.

Like Trevor_Clim said, it looks like the observatory on Moonglow, to me. I wouldn't know about the buildings on SI.
