Alagner not killed by hook

Playing the latest snapshot, i currently met the timelord and had the wisp absorb the information in Alagners notebook.
Now i came by new magincia and thought to return the notebook, but Alagner is still alive, he shoud have died, the Guardians voice does appear correctly.
and if you look in the crystalball you do see hook and elisabeth and abraham killing Alagner.

Anyone else noticed it?

Yes, the same thing happened to me though I was using version 1.0.

I think this is an old bug, possibly in the original as well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this happened in the original, as I've not played in through in Exult yet and I remember him wandering around when he should have been dead.

Hmm when i came back a day later he was dead !!

It is possible to walk into the building without triggering (one of?) the flag necessarily to "kill" him, since you can go in from two sides in the original and in Exult.
