looking for help :(

Post by Nosferatu »

Hi,

I'm a little distraught,

I used to play Ultima a while back when I could use dos and Quemm to get the 620k... but that was a long while ago...

since then I've bought pagan, UO as well ass asscention (sp?)

anyways... the problem lies with the copy protection (give me a chance here please !!)

I bought the EA CD-ROM classics version of "The Complete Ultima VII" which included the black gate - forge of virtue as well as serpent isle - the silver seed.

now with the budget version of these you dont get a cloth map.... you get pdf files...

I've been looking at the pdf files and cant read the damn long/lat not matter how hard I try...

I do have the cloth map from ultima asscention but thats much use to me either...

can anyone help poor little me?

I can even list the files and sizes... (MAPS folder)
MAPSREF.PDF 7kb
U7MAP.PDF 1,244kb
U7SIMAP.PDF 1,159kb

Yeah! It's that bad!
But didn't they provide you a booklet containing all the answers to the copy-right questions?
Mine did.

The Ultima archive, hosted by Origin/EA, gives you the coordinates necessary for leaving Trinsic at http://www.uo.com/archive/ultima7/coord.html.
