It would be possible to update the equipment scroll further in SI using eggs or Usecode in reading scrolls:
Pinecone - Updated after reading the scroll upstairs in Hazard's Lodge.
Lab Apparatus - Egg under/near Rudyom's Wand in Skullcrusher.
Pumice - Egg under/near the ruined spellbook in Furnace.
Severed Hand - Egg under/near the dagger on Mad Mage Isle.

While you are at it, maybe something that could be added to SI Fixes would be the issue with the Britannia map. The Avatar us supposed to have one, but doesn't, yet it's exchanged with ice wine.
Would it be difficult to import the map from BG as a useless item (after all, no sextant at this point), put it into the backpack and have it vanish with the lightning strike? After all, Julia later says the map got destroyed.
