I am playing Exult 1.5 with SIFixes and the Avatar Pack.
In the original game, wearing the Gauntlets of Quickness affected your training so you could get more benefit out of the rubber-band effect. The same is not true in exult presumably because the original processed your training prior to it stripping you and Exult does it after.
Can this be fixed?

I like that Exult handles this as Origin Devs would have intended rather than the broken EA-rush handling. Quick use of the F2 cheat menu will work around this if desired.

How this works under the hood is unclear to me. It is possible the UI command to drop inventory for training does the UNREADY usecode where the original does not. When I get back into the usecode I'll take a look.

I don't think this is how the Origin devs would have intended it. In this state, the gloves help with Tsandar and Tsandar alone (maybe Wilfred too but he is straight up worse than Tsandar anyway). It basically turns Tsandar in to a super trainer compared to everyone else.
An argument could be made for the Origin devs preferring it not to count, but they sure wouldn't want it applied selectively. Considering it was consistent in the original game and now it isn't, I'm more inclined to think that it wasn't a mistake.
