Help!
I have a very big problem, though it probably won't effect alot of people. I have, sitting right next to me, all 6 Ultima VII: The Black Gate floppy disks. And I don't have a floppy drive on my computer.
I have copies of all the files from the disks on my hard drive, but it keeps asking me to put in the floppies into my floppy drive and press any key, and nothing I try makes it install. Can anyone help me out here? I have Exult installed and everything, though... Thanks in advance.

Re: Help!
oh, what is your operating system?
on Windows-systems you would need to open notepad and write:
copy u7disk00 /b + u7disk01 /b + u7disk02 /b 01.zip /b
copy u7disk10 /b + u7disk11 /b + u7disk12 /b 02.zip /b
copy u7disk20 /b + u7disk21 /b 03.zip /b
save it as join.bat in a folder and copy
U7DISK00
U7DISK01
U7DISK02
U7DISK10
U7DISK11
U7DISK12
U7DISK20
U7DISK21
in there as well. Then doubleclick on join.bat and it should do the "dirty" work aand you are left with three zips. Then you'd only need to extract these zips with paths to the same dir.

Re: Help!
Windows XP - Home Edition.
And it works, thank you SO much! I have it working with Exult to, atm.
And I right about now my dad is slapping his forhead... He is a programmer, and when I told him what I had to do, he figured out how to do it manually.
Now to find the: Hoe of Destruction!
Thanks again.

Re: Help!
You may try this (from the command prompt):
C:> subst
For example, you have copied all content of the disks into C:\u7install, then you should execute this from command prompt:
C:> subst B: C:\u7install
then you go to that "virtual" floppy drive (B:)
C:> B:
then you execute the installation program from B:
Good luck! (it works with floppy version of Strike Commander)

Re: Help!
Necroposter...
Before we become a disk trading site, consider buying the game again from gog.com.
It's very cheap AND you get the version with the addons...
