I'd noticed while playing Black Gate recently, that sometimes monsters aren't all too keen to attack you. As in I can walk right up to headless or the reapers on the road to Yew and it'll take them some time (5 seconds or so) to register my presence. A quick search led me to a post by DrCode, where he'd mentioned making the wisps less hostile. And that this might consequently cause a decrease in hostility amongst other monsters.
Does anyone else experience this problem? (not that you could necessarily call killing your adversaries before they can raise a hand a problem) It doesn't happen all the time, and it's not that big a deal. But I thought I'd mention it nonetheless.
On another note, I like how tough mad mages can be once spells start flying. Don't remember them ever throwing such devastating attacks around.
Monster Aggression.

Re: Monster Aggression.
I remember mages in the original BG throwing all kinds of random spells at you, (At least they seemed to be random) and if you where out of luck one of those would be a death bolt.
