Ultima Dragons Internet Chapter (roughly1995-2000).

I can't believe the old websites are all still there. I used to troll the newsgroup all the time, and then there was that MOO, I forget what it was called but it was pretty cool. #UDIC on Undernet is still around I guess. It was kind of sad to realize that Ultima just died as a series one day and to watch a bunch of other people realize the same thing and dissappear. It really makes me happy to see some people like something so much as to nearly completely rewrite the whole game engine.

I don't know why there were ever so many dragons, but I always thought it was pretty neat to talk to people all over the world when I was 17.

I am at Undernet #udic almost half of the week.

Nobody told me there was an Undernet channel.
I remember the MOO and it was nice you could build your own area (and I did, and even had a hot air balloon that I flew around Britannia) but a few regulars were rude and unfair to me so playing wasn't very fun anymore.
By the time they changed the world completely I was not interested in the slightest.

Well, a lot of people complained about mail being spam and such, so we don't send mail out to people on the roster. About the only time you get a message is when you're joining. It's up to you to find a forum or a community to join with, although the greeting message lists a number of places... it seems you weren't entirely unsuccessful in that.

I sit around the #udic chanel sommetimes reading and responding. I keep very busy so my own ultima fan community tends to be stoping by different places for abit, and coming back every now and then.
like here, i'll hand around for a short while then vanish coming back some other time, a long time coming typically.
