Exult start menu

i just installed the exult beta, and when I get to the start menu there is a picture of a speaker next to U7 BG and SI, and the one next to BG is crossed out with a big red cross. At first I thought that this meant the sound was not working, but I started a game, and it worked fine. I was just wondering what this meant.

I think it is if you have wav files you wont get the cross.
I can completely be wrong though.

Yes, the icons indicate whether you'll get SFX or not.

And to further confuse you:
The MUSIC should always be alright and playing on a Windows machine.
The sfx means SOUND EFFECTS that are only played at certain events, so make sure you meant with "sound playing" not only the music but the sfx as well.
