Massive Amounts of EXP!

I was wondering if this is a known bug...

I started a new game with exult 1.4, the newest keyring mod (.11.09 or some sort), and the Q&I patch, at some point between beginning the game, and leaving Trinsic, killing 2 deer, and attacking the chest SW of trinsic both Iolo and I have 18,612,364(5) (respectively) experience points and are level 19.

Spark only has 125 experience. I'm just curious if this is an intentional bump in exp for developing purposes or if its just a bug or an option. Just curious. I started another new game and played for a little while attempting to do the same thing but haven't been able to replicate it yet....

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Okay, so I just found a wolf out of town and my avatar has 18,xxx,xxx experience again, I'm thinking this must be intentional and seems to be awarded to whoever gets the final kill?

If there is a fix for this I probably have to download a savegame editor to change back my chars exp right?

After trying and trying, I can't reproduce on XP or Ubuntu. What OS are you using? Can you confirm the version of Keyring you are using (should be 0.11.19) and that you are using the latest snapshot?

Tried to submit a bug report and associated savegame for this issue, but got a "500 -- Internal Server Error", so I'll post what I can here. I'll try to submit again later.

Using the newest snapshot (06-10-2008) and the newest Keyring Mod (06-03-2008) on Windows98SE:

After completing the Password quest in Trinsic, Iolo and the Avatar leave the city to the North. There, they slay a mighty deer. Whomever kills said beastie receives 6523890 Experience Points (they had 250 XP when they went into the fight, leaving them with 6524140 XP total.)

This occurred using an old version of the Keyring Mod, but not (to the best of my knowledge) an old version of the snapshot, so I guess that it's snapshot related. If it matters, the Avatar is using a bow and Iolo is using his trusty crossbow.

Meant to say that "this ALSO occurred using an old version of the Keyring Mod." So the bug happened in the old Keyring Mod as well as in the new one.

I can include a save game right before that if needed, shouldn't take to long to recreate since it happens when I kill outside of Trinsic. (Hmm...wonder if it happens if I kill INSIDE of Trinsic...here kitty kitty).

Just checked it and it does.
Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP binary snapshot 2008-06-11 20:28, no mods at all. WinXP SP2.

I am also experiencing the same thing, cvs exult, archlinux compiled with gcc 4.3 ( don't ask )
