SI ending
when i finished SI, the serpents didn't say "balance is restored. we thank you." there was just a flash of that screen and then it was gone. Also, the guardian said nothing when he grabbed the avatar after the serpents united, whereas in the old one, i remember him saying something about him and the avatar going to another world alltogether, cuz they DO have a score to settle. what's up with that?

i'd think they'd fix this before they released the beta..... maybe they overlooked it.

THere's a lot of stuff they didn't fix before releasing the beta.
*people whacking dummies
*people using the archery targets
*people using the dartboards
*All the pikemen in SI carry the exact same items, as do the rangers
*thing exits into windows constantly
*Juggernaut hammer still doesn't glow orange
*people still talk in their sleep
*duplicate pirate near Gorn
*Duplicate ghost near the mayor of Skara Brae
*about 20-30 duplicate trappers near that wounded trapper in SI
*several others I can't think of at the moment
Most of them are minor, but still....
Then again, the goal for the beta was to fix it to the point where YOU CAN GET THROUGH SI AND BG WITHOUT PLOTSTOPPERS, so everything else is moot.

Does that really still happen with a newly started game? We have no record of that.
But you are right the goal for the beta was that both games are finishable without plotstoppers. Other companies would have made this not the beta but Release Candidate 3

The 20-30 duplicate trappers was fixed a while ago, but other duplicates were not.
I don't think I'll implement the archery targets for this release. Still thinking about it.
