Ultima 7 for PDA

Post by Rowan Massing »

First question: If I understand the FAQ correctly, I must own U7 in order to play Exult. How do I buy Ultima 7? The game stores I frequent have nothing of the sort.

Second question: I think you might have addressed this in the FAQ, but to tell the truth I don't understand enough of the terminology to know what I'm reading. I want to play Ultima 7 badly enough that I would buy a PDA if I knew the game would run on it. A normal computer is unfeasible for me since I'm traveling, so a handheld is my only option. I'm afraid I know very little about PDAs. I think there are basically two major operating systems, one by Palm and one by Microsoft. Will your glorious project one day allow me to play U7 on one of these? If there is a PDA that will play U7, I will buy it. Thy cause is great and I support thee.

Check on e-bay. There are a couple of them up for sale.

1. Try finding the Ultima Collection or some other incarnation of U7 on ebay

2. On ordinary PDAs Exult does NOT work. It might some day but that day may still be far away.
Exult runs on Zaurus, that's a PDA like device that runs linux. More information at http://www.myzaurus.com/
