If you want to see something that REALLY reminds you of UO, go and find Philip
Jose Farmer's Riverworld books, specifically "To Your Scattered Bodies Go". It's
uncanny. You've got just about everything there; of course, a real Riverworld RPG
would be a hell of a lot more fun because you could build airplanes, and steamboats
and rifles if you knew how.
