Yes, don't laugh when you see the people practicing archery; it still needs a >bit< more work.
On the other hand, it does take a lot of talent to hit a bullseye when you're facing the edge of the target.

Re: Don't laugh at the archers...
Talk about a trick shot.
Maybe you should implement pool-tables, so people can practise their Steve Davis moves...though knowing Iolo's aim, he'd sink the white off the black every time.

Yes, it's pretty tricky to get those arrows to turn 90 degrees.
Also kind of funny when the NPC stands directly in front of the target and misses it.

The Worf School of target practice.

What game had the little 'amusement spheres' or whatever they called
them? Make a pool table and put lots of those on top of it.

Re: Don't laugh at the archers...
This whole thing doesn't sound that strange to me, but I am used to stranger things. In Xcom Apocalypse I would often find that targeting something directly in front of me resulted in me shooting ninety degrees to either side of me or sometimes straight up. Better than this was the time in Fallout when a discharged my shotgun at a Radscorpion in front of me only to kill and seriously injure it's three mates who were all behind me. Compared to that hitting a bullseye edge on is a piece of piss.
Re: Don't laugh at the archers...
You're thinking of "rolling spheres" in Ultima 8. The part where you find them (the skull puzzle, among other places) has this really strange, blissful music playing. It
doesn't play anywhere else in the game... Very strange.
UU had a "resilent sphere" which was a rubber ball. I went into this closet and threw
it at the wall, and it came back and hit me in the head. UU2 also allowed you to
equip snowballs and use them as weapons.
God, those LG guys sure had a sense of fun.

Yeah, I remember throwing a snowball at a wall, where it bounced,
ricocheted directly back at me, and killed me because i had 1 hp left.
That was pretty embarassing to say the least.
