Exult for German gaming magazine PC Action

Hi,

I am an editor of the German gaming magazine PC Action. We are doing a "mod"-special about Ultima and I would love to feature Exult in it. Maybe it would even be possible to put the files of Exult on our cover-DVD? Do you believe that there might be copyright issues with that?

Great idea and there shouldn't be any problems putting Exult on the disc. However, Ultima 7 (which is required to play the game with Exult) is copyrighted material and cannot be distributed on the disc without permission from Electronic Farts.

I wrote an email to Andreas that we would like to be on that DVD, the issue with u7 not being freeware and that the additional downloads of the music and sfx packs are in a legal grey area.
I thought it best to establish mail contact instead of discussing everything on the forum, but then I also thought that it might be nice for everyone else to know that we did reply
