Dynamic Objects?

Post by Ownageround »

While i am able to spawn Static Objects in Exult: Ultima VII i was wondering how to spawn dynamic objects (Ones that move). For Example: I can spawn static people, that do not move or talk, but i was wondering how i would be able to spawn people that talk, move, etc.

If anyone is able to tell me how, that would be greatly appreciated.

What do younmean by spawn? And how do you do it?

And yes, if you create an NPC either by Exult Studio or the shape browser, they will not be "alive".
An Npc needs to have usecode associated to it to work. Usecode is the foundation of u7, the script that has everything...
In exult studio you would need to assign an npc number to the body shape.

By spawn, i mean pull up the static image browser or w/e its called ingame. And you know, create them so a static image of stuff appears ingame so i can place it onscreen.

I'd advise you to use Exult Studio for this kind of stuff. The ingame shape browser is not made for ease of use.

I'd think the "Download" section might be a good place to start.
