SI spellbook crashing

For some reason, I keep crashing as I try to get my spellbook created in SI. If I load all the mandrake root onto my char, it crashes immediately. I tried divying up the mandrake among my party and once I return to moonshade and speak to Fed..., Exult shuts down. I'm using xp, soundblaster, nvidia, and the latest version of exult. Any help is much appreciated. If I'm missing any necessary info, hollar at me.

This is another bug that was fixed since the Beta. If you're using the latest snapshot, could you submit a bug with a savegame just before you collect the mandrake?

Probably not, as I'm a computer moron and I really don't know what you mean. But if this is solved in another version, can/will switch to that version. Which exult version should I dl for use?
