New and improved version of the Expack frontend

Post by Tenchi »

Tenchi's eXPack-Frontend 1.23
-----------------------------

Lots of new and improved features in this version!
- looks now in the startup dir for expack.exe. If it's there, you don't need to browse for it anymore.
- select target dir for extracted files and/or have a new folder created for them
- easily build a flex file from selected files - no text file necessary anymore.
- automatically creates a text file when building from selected files. The text file can be re-used for later builds from the same files.
- context-sensitive help in the status bar
- buttons light up on mouse over and have pressed states

Download the frontend here.

If you don't have the Visual Basic 6 Runtimes, download them here.

Argh... seems the message board is too stupid to recognize the Anchor closing tags >_

Miraculosly, the links all still work, though.

hmm, strange. They did work last night. Ugh... guess I'll have to take a look at the phorum source.

Ok, I just fixed phorum to accept </a> tags as well. It was a bug in the regular expression which caused it to only accept an </a > tag (note the space behind the a)

Tenchi: some more issue with your frontend.
Browsing for the file you want to extract is limited to *.vga and *.flx files. At least an option for *.* would be nice.

Extracting produces a "Laufzeitfehler 53 - Datei nicht gefunden"
When I choose my sound flex and selected another dir to extract to it extracted the files to the same Dir but never moved them where they should go and produced the error message above!

"Laufwerk" - drive
"Laufzeit" - runtime
