Having problems with the studio

once I pick my directory for u7 it doesn't do anything...nothing loads up under files...I also tried doing the exult directory...both being the main folder...if I pick a sub folder it gives me an assertion error. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Not sure. The directory you select should be the one that contains 'static' and 'gamedat'. Maybe there's a bug if the directory name contains spaces, as I've never tried that.

lemme check....nope, but my directory for ultima 7 is c:\uc\ultima7 because I bought it in that collectors pack. Do you think if I moved or copied the directory to just c:\ultima7, it would work?

I also, if this helps, have the studio in the same dir as the ultima 7
