Exult dropping to Desktop

When I start Exult and create a character, the game drops to the desktop when I click on Journey Onward.
The stderr.txt file says:

I'm using the latest shnapshot from 5/6/02 and I a running Exult under Windows XP.

This is a bug in the snapshot. It should be fixed in the next one.
