Wuc error....

Well, I try to compile a new USECODE for the french translation but I get a WUC.EXE internal error in assembling the uc.....

I have the latest version of wuc
I use Windows XP US version and before i was no prob with XP french version... or maybe it's another problem ?

Also, shouldn't things like this be reported on the mailing list or (better) in the bug tracker ?

I suggested KK to post in the forum. This way, a lot of people using WinXP could verify this happen to them too.

And since this is more an exult tool problem rather than an engine problem, it didn't seem appropriate to put it on the bug tracker.
Now, if we are wrong, sorry about that!

The bug report is a bit sparse on details, though. What usecode file crashes wuc?

KK would be able to tell you better, but it seemed that whenever he uses the option "-s" it just crashes.

The first file , when it's assembling make a internal error in the wuc.exe...
It's work with arta.... i don't have any file to send because it's not the files...

I think they want to have a look at wuc.exe itself.

It works with me since I use the linux version of wuc.

You could try to use the latest wuc from the download page.

Wuc crashes regardless of what file you use it on? Hm, what is the exact error message you get?

We are getting nowhere with this. What we do need is:

the wuc.exe binary you're using, the input file you're feeding it with, the exact command line, and the version of Windows you are using, so that we can run it under a debugger and work out what's going on.
