Saveing-"Bad Feeling" MSG

I just started up U7BG and saved my game after the "intro"-scene where the Avatar rushes through the moongate.
Does anyone know why he says "I have a bad feeling"?
It makes no sense to me, it happens in the original as well.

It's foreshadowing all the bad stuff that happens in the story.

Well, it's done it during the story as well not just the first part.

I have it occasionally happen just after a save of the game.

Maybe the avatar is anticipating going into a dangerous place because you saved first. I dunno.

This is in the original as well.

It adds to the "ambience" of the game don't you think?

It does that in the original as well, especially in serpent isle. After saving the game the avatar would often spout "I have a bad feeling about this..."

Probably he's referring to the chance that the game is saved badly

It was a joke by the original programmers; if you've just saved and haven't exited, then you're probably about to try something dangerous or unknown...
