Items stacking in backpack?

Just downloaded the release candidate 2 and am very happy with the exult program so far. Hopefully non-redundant info is helping, so here goes. This isn't a bug - more quirky.

I was caught in Minoc taking serpent venom from the BMC mine - that shifty little weasle that runs the joint caught me and called for a guard. The guards asked me to be peaceful and, lo, I was.

20 Gp later in Yew I started putting things in my backpack from the table in the courthouse and I noticed all my stuff stacked on top of each other in my backpack. After reloading - items were sorted nicely.

Dropping things in my backpack from the paperdoll stacks things, but quitting and restarting sorts the backpack again.

Any way to force a sort? Like a button or key to autosort your bag? Not a big deal, but it would be neat if you could do that with the click of a button as opposed to stopping and starting.

That is one thing that annoyed me in the original, and the only thing I liked about U8 better then u7 , the fact that it would auto-sort your backpack for you, often making things even more cluttered.

I like things to STAY where I put them
