I have just discovered Exult after seeing a newsgroup posting from an enthusiastic user who went on about how great Exult works for him in Windows. I am a relatively new Linux user and have been looking for some fun things to play under Linux when I found out about this.

I loved Ultima VII: The Black Gate and still recall it fondly as the best computer game I have ever enjoyed playing. I played it when it first came out including the Forge of Virtue add-on. I am so excited about Exult! I never did get around to playing Part II: Sepent Isle and now I can! I am going to replay The Black Gate first too. I can hardly wait to "Journey Onward." I got both Ultimas and add-ons installed last night so the data is all there and ready to go.

I haven't got Exult up and running yet but with your detailed instructions I don't expect to have any problems and I did not want to delay in sending my heartfelt thanks to the team who worked so hard I am sure to make Exult. So thank you so much from someone who is going to truly and fully appreciate your work.

Way back when I used to run an Egghead Software store when Ultima VII first came out and I would often be heard saying, "I AM the Avatar!" Soon I think I shall be saying that again!

So thank you for doing such a good and virtuous thing for Ultima fans everywhere.
