Hello,
I have the same problem in Serpent Isle as bug 593701, except sometimes it is slightly different for me. After I am teleported, sometimes the robot will actually talk to me; however, after the conversation, the cursor doesn't change back to the green movement arrow (stays as a pointing hand). Other times, it's exactly like the bug, the robot doesn't even talk to me. I'm using the latest snapshots and tried both branches 1.0.x and 1.1.x, on WinXP.
I guess my question is, until the bug gets fixed, is there a possible workaround? If I use the cheat and teleport myself there, it works fine, but I'm guessing that some of the flags won't have been set properly. Any thoughts on what could be done?
Thanks!

Re: SI: MoF workaround for bug?
Try this after you find yourself unable to move on the platform:
F2 for cheats.
N for NPC-tool, then 0 for Avatar (NPC #0)
N for NPC flags
* for Advanced
16 for flag #16 (dont move)
You should see that it's set.
U to unset it.
Esc... to get out.
Let us know if that doesn't work.

Yes, that worked well, the flag was indeed set. Thanks for the help!
Re: SI: MoF workaround for bug?
Sure, no problem. What I don't know yet is why the flag was still set. The game should have cleared it (and it does when I try it, so maybe it has something to do with timing).
