Basic docs for tools?

Post by Aerick »

Hey guys,

Could one of you write up basic docs about the tools? I'm confused by what tools do what when it comes to the usecode stuff. There seems to be a few versions of the same basic stuff with some variation, what does what? I'm not asking for indepth guides or anything, just a little "readme" that says "this does that in such a way". ;)

Things are really shaping up nicely, Studio is starting to become usable even on windoze! Very nice work :)

There are some docs for them, in fact, but I'm not sure they're in the source distro.

They are in CVS, however, so you can view them through:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/view ... ult/tools/

(click on the version number next to the files called *.txt to view them)

The usecode compiler is still in a somewhat rough (though useable) state. I hope to start cleaning it up again, now that we've got this release done. The best I can suggest now is to look at the 'island' patch as an example of the language.
