Editing frames from SHAPE05 of FONTS.VGA

Hi,

I'm trying to edit some frame for Shape 05 of FONTS.VGA with Exult Studio, opening the frame directly into GIMP (v2.8), and after that, rewriting the frame in GIMP. I'm using the 1.5.0svn.

The problem I have with the letters is that they lose the "glooming" effect they have in game. These are used in Serpent Isle, for example, in Spell Book (First Circle, Second Circle... and so on).

I asume this is a problem of the Plugin and somehow it loses the Colour Palette. How can I solve this?
