Question about soundfont files

Post by Ravenous Dragon »

So, I downloaded a soundfont file that is supposedly the correct one to use for Ultima 7 for all the sounds to sound like they are meant to (jeez that sentence is awkward =)

Anyways, I have this soundfont file and no idea what to do with it. Help?

Thanks!

if you have no idea how to use it don't bother with it.
SB AWE and SB Live users can change the soundfont used via the audioHQ. you also have to set the midi device either with the exult.cfg (see the documentation) or via Windows Audio properties.

You can try to load a better soundfont with realist instrument
anyway it work with exult
oh btw make sure it that the soundfont have gs instrument
because the real sound must have echo pan (specially in intro of si) and castaniet (dark path song)
