Exult in Win 7-64bit

Post by Phebe »

Hi...
I can't start both Exult and the games...are they compatible to Windows 7-64 bit? I have both Blackgate and Serpent Isle from Ultima Collection CD.
Thanks :)

Exult is compatible with Windows 7 64bit. You will have to be more verbose about your problem.

After installing the Exult program I put the Black Gate and Serpent Isle to the Exult folder, when I start the Exult I got the message: "Warning...Could not found the static data for either The Black Gate or Serpent Isle, please edit the configuration file and restart Exult."

So I try to open the Black Gate game and got message not compatible with Windows 7-64 bit.

I don't quite understand about the configuration things.

Thanks for your help :)

I can't install both The Black Gate and Serpent Isle, it says the game not compatible with the OS.

Please read the documentation on how and where to install the games. You don't need to run the installer of the original game (which IS incompatible with W7 64bit).

If you need pure 1993 then you need DOSbox.
