Hello I've been having some trouble with Exult Studio. Whenever I try to edit an NPC, nothing happens. I can create items, but not edit NPCs. I start up ES with CRTL-ALT-M and d-click on an NPC. Then when I go to change a flag, say for example, to make my character Protected. I enable the Protected flag and I click Apply. But nothing happens. The NPC editing window stays there and the NPC is unaffected. In studio_out, it says:
In save_npc_window()
exult_studio (pid:2196): Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkLabel' to `GtkCheckButton'
Error sending npc data to server
I'm using Windows 2000 Professional with service pack 2. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I'm using the latest snapshots for both.

Re: Exult Studio problems
Seems to be a bug in the Windows version, something to do with the communication between ES and Exult. Works okay in Linux.
Re: Exult Studio problems
If you read the #exult logs you will see that we tried all kind of things and never got it to work (meaning Annorax and me tried to troubleshoot it). It works in XP as well and now that I'm at my mothers place I can try if it works with XP Home...
Edit: I addressed Jeff here.

Re: Exult Studio problems
well, on XP Home it works okay as well. I'm now going to try it on my Mothers Notebook which has W2k SP2 (I totally forgot the notebook allthough it was sitting right next to the computer table ). Let's see how that goes
Edit:
Well, it seems it is a problem with W2k. That Laptop has the same problem as you described.
Bad!
