Anyone here familiar with U5:Lazarus?

I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with, or is involved with, the Ultima 5: Lazarus project, the one that is developing a U5 mod for the Dungeon Siege engine.
I just noticed that Dungeon Siege is going to be ported to Mac OS X, and I would love to know if this will open the door for a Mac port of this Mod. From their site, it looks like they are going to be using a standard Windows-based installer that will actually look for the original DOS U5 files on the user's HD before installing (for legal purposes only). However, I actually own the Ultima collection, so I have those files. Does anyone know if there is a chance, good or bad, that they would adapt this mod for Mac?
I checked their site, but the forum is down and I was unable to address this question to them.
