What, you don't own a MAC OSX version of Ultima VII?! ...

Any of the PC versions with Forge of Virtue add-on should be OK. Exult just uses the data files from the games.

I don't think you can compare the small (size of the avatar's foot) 8x8 tile in U7 to the 16x16 tiles in U6 which are used for entire objects and walls. The U6 tiles are comparible to U7 shapes.

What I mean is... obviously "1.41cvs" isn't sufficient to compare versions. And having it autogenerated can be annoying for people trying to test code changes locally before updating cvs, so you'd also add an override switch like "--ignore-crc". Then again, you could manually gen...

The newest ES is only supposed to be used with the newest Exult, right? May I suggest the build dates (or a new version string) be built into each, and Exult Studio warn or quit with error if it's being used with an incorrect version of Exult. (or Exult warn about ES if you like) I'm generally again...

If the egg is there in the original it's in Exult.
I remember in the original they sometimes returned to their schedules too fast. When I got to the scene nobody was standing around.

He says that something like it may happen in the future, not while you're still on SI. I think the developers added that to make the player feel a little better about the bane's killings. (still, some players liked the new banes story)

Hmmm.... could this not help to provide dynamic lighting? Exult already has an OpenGL scaler and it hasn't been used for dynamic lighting. In that respect, OpenGL-HQ scaler wouldn't be any different. - Fawn Tower is properly cleaned up. Goblins no longer spawn after it is cleaned up (unless the banes have been released) and the broken dishes all go away.
Anyone else think the guards are just really messy, and too lazy to clean up after themselves?
They can always get new plates from Fawn. :)

I'd like to keep the Claw plot additions seperate from the Original Story recreation. (unless you do find original documents on it) That said, these aren't bad deas. Can you find some way to tie in the Kilrathi "religion/prophecy" in that says they are destined to conquer all other races?

Well that's pretty stupid using it as a storeroom when you have to buy a new key every day. But I'd say unlock all the doors, if that's possible. (along with turning off the automatic locking)

You should be able to mirror and connect to SI's map by copying data files manually, right? But actually moving the dungeons onto new maps and relinking the teleporters will be a long and tedious process.

Don't change the game, or add any requirements. But, yeah, the codex can give basic clues. Use the same clues (rewritten) and flags that the Gypsy checks. The one for lake cove is rather easy to do. Just place a few strategically placed eggs which activate when the chunk is cached in.
